Need help with Dosehue? Email merhaba@tasarim.io and include “Dosehue” in the subject.

Dosehue is made by Giray Batıtürk. Support can help with the app, not treatment decisions.

Get started

  1. Enter the medication name, dose, and unit from the plan supplied by your healthcare professional.
  2. Choose daily or weekly frequency, the first date, and reminder time, then tap “Save plan”.
  3. Allow notifications if you want a reminder. You can still use your plan and history if you decline.

Dosehue stores one plan at a time. Plan, logging, reminders, rotation, history, Apple Health connection, and encrypted backup work without a subscription. Internet access is needed for Dosehue Plus purchase and restore.

Common questions

How do I log an injection?

After an actual injection, tap “Log dose” on Today. Check the date, time, and dose, choose a body site, and save. Open an entry in History to edit it. To delete one, swipe its row, choose “Delete”, and check the confirmation. Deletion cannot be undone.

What does the body map show?

“Front” shows the left and right abdomen and thighs. “Back” shows the left and right upper arms. Left and right refer to the body's own sides. Switching the view does not change the selected site.

The map records a general site. It does not show an exact injection point or teach injection technique. The rotation marker is based on your recorded history, not a medical suitability check. Follow your medication's instructions and your healthcare professional's plan.

How is the next dose date calculated?

Without dose records, Dosehue uses the first planned date and reminder time. With records, it adds the daily or weekly calendar interval to the latest administration date, using your plan's reminder time.

Adding an older record does not move the latest administration date backwards. Editing or deleting the latest record may change the next date. Dosehue does not determine your treatment interval or dose.

Why did a reminder not appear?

Check the notification card on Today. “Reminder ready” means the next future reminder was scheduled, not that iOS guarantees delivery. If notifications are off, tap “Open notification settings”, allow Dosehue notifications in iOS, and return to the app.

Check that the plan's date and time are in the future. Also check sounds, Lock Screen and banner preferences, Focus, and Scheduled Summary. These settings can affect when and how a notification appears. See Apple's notification settings guide.

Does the reminder repeat if a dose is overdue?

No. Dosehue schedules only the next future reminder and updates it after a recorded dose or plan change. It does not repeat overdue reminders indefinitely, suggest a catch-up dose, or mark a dose as taken automatically.

Do not log an injection that did not happen just to trigger a reminder. For a late or missed dose, consult your medication's instructions and your healthcare professional.

What should I check after changing time zones?

Open Dosehue and check the next displayed date and time against your plan. If necessary, update the reminder time according to your own plan.

Where are my records stored?

Your plan and history stay in the app's storage on your iPhone. Dosehue does not send them to the developer and does not provide automatic cloud sync. Apple device backups depend on your iOS and iCloud settings.

Use “Protect your records” to create a password-protected encrypted backup, then choose where to save it. Keep the file and password separately. Dosehue cannot recover a forgotten password. Restoring merges supported records and does not silently replace a different existing plan.

Notification previews may show the medication name and dose. You can limit Lock Screen previews in iOS Settings. Read the privacy policy for app, website, and support-email details.

What does Apple Health connection do?

It is optional and read-only. After you choose Apple Health data, Dosehue can display the latest weight and, on supported iOS versions, medication and taken-dose information you allowed. It does not copy those values into Dosehue records or send them to analytics or purchase services.

An empty value can mean either no matching Health data or no read permission. Manage access in the Health app or iOS Settings.

What is included in Dosehue Plus?

Dosehue Plus unlocks monthly record charts, injection-site distribution, and PDF report export. It renews monthly until cancelled. Core tracking, reminders, rotation, history, Apple Health connection, and encrypted backup remain free.

Use “Restore purchases” after reinstalling or moving to another device with the same Apple Account. Manage or cancel the subscription from your Apple Account subscription settings.

How do I delete my data?

Delete individual dose records in History. Choosing “Delete App” in iOS removes local app data; “Offload App” retains documents and data. Existing Apple backups are managed through your Apple and iCloud settings.

Do not delete the app as the first troubleshooting step: you could lose local records. See Apple's iPhone storage guide.

Email merhaba@tasarim.io with the app version, iOS version, iPhone model, approximate error time, and steps to reproduce the issue.

Avoid sending your health history unless necessary. Hide medication names, doses, and other private details in screenshots. Email is a voluntary submission, not an automatic transfer of your app records.
