The problem
You love your family and you still forget to call. Weeks go by. Contact apps and CRMs treat people like a sales funnel, and nobody wants that tone for their mother.
What we did
Pick the people who matter, give each one a rhythm, get a single calm nudge at the hour you choose. Call in one tap, log it in one tap. When you don't know what to say, the device writes the draft. Data stays on the iPhone and in your own iCloud: no account, no server.
Outcome
Live on the App Store in seven languages: English, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German and French. Pro is monthly or annual. Privacy, terms and support live under tasarim.io/beebo.
What’s inside
- People you pick from your contacts, each with a rhythm: weekly, monthly or custom.
- One quiet notification at the hour you choose. Reminders that land on the same day roll into one.
- From the notification itself: one tap for “I reached out”, one for “snooze three days”.
- Birthdays, a Sunday evening weekly recap, home and lock screen widgets, a Siri shortcut.
- When you don’t know what to say: a message draft and a talking point, both written on the device.
- Beebo Pro: unlimited drafts, custom rhythms, CSV export. Adding people is always free.
Seven languages
- The interface ships in seven languages: English, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German and French.
- Store copy, release notes and screenshots are in the same seven.
- English and Turkish were written by hand. The other five live in one Python file and go to App Store Connect from there.
- The same file checks character limits and the required Terms and Privacy lines. One submission was rejected for missing them.
- Screenshots are captured in the simulator and captioned by a script. No hand editing.
How it was built
- SwiftUI and SwiftData. iCloud sync through CloudKit, subscriptions through RevenueCat, anonymous analytics and crash reports through PostHog.
- The mascot, the app icon and the store images are generated from code, so they never drift from the app.
- The product started out as HumanLayer and became Beebo. Support moved to beebo@tasarim.io.
