Privacy Policy

The short version: PocketPortion stores your budget on your iPhone. There is no PocketPortion account, bank connection, advertising SDK or analytics SDK in the app. We do not operate a server that receives your budget. The only information that leaves your device is your purchase, described below.

Account names and balances, categories, targets, transactions, payees and notes you add are stored in the app's private area on your device. PocketPortion keeps the last valid local record for recovery. iOS file protection applies while the device is locked.

PocketPortion reads only a file you choose with the system file picker. Exported CSV and JSON files contain readable budget information. Check their contents and store them somewhere you trust.

If you save an export to iCloud Drive or another file provider, that provider handles the file under its own terms and privacy policy. Depending on your iPhone and iCloud settings, iOS may include app data in system backups. PocketPortion does not provide its own device-to-device sync service.

PocketPortion is free to download and the current month is always free. Unlocking every past and future month is a single purchase, handled by Apple. Our payments provider RevenueCat receives the purchase record and an anonymous device identifier so the unlock can be restored on your devices and shared through Family Sharing. This is the only network request the app makes; if you never buy the unlock, the app makes none at all.

That information is processed for app functionality only. It is not linked to your identity, never used for advertising or tracking, and not sold or shared with data brokers. Apple handles the payment itself; we never see your card or bank details. Your budget is never part of this and never leaves the device.

If you email giray@batiturk.com, your email address, message and attachments are processed by the email providers involved and used to answer your request. You do not need to send bank credentials or a complete budget. Remove personal financial details whenever possible.

The support and privacy pages run on tasarim.io, separately from the PocketPortion app. The app does not attach your budget data to these links. The website may use consent-based analytics and advertising measurement cookies and loads Instrument Sans from Google Fonts. See the tasarim.io website privacy policy and use “Cookie preference” in the footer to manage consent.

You can correct or delete records in the app and export a complete JSON backup. Deleting the app removes its local data. Files you exported and existing system backups are not deleted by an in-app action; manage those separately in the relevant file or backup service.
